Bosquejos de una Memoria was unveiled to the women and their families on January 13, 2018 during the Soñé una Milpa party, which celebrated the women's stories of immigration. Just like the women had invited Leigh and Maria into their spaces, made them a meal and shared their vulnerable experiences, Maria and Leigh invited them into their creative space, catered their favorite breakfast meal (huevos rancheros), and gave them the opportunity to have professional family portraits taken as well as engage in art making activities.
